Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I Krishna, a member of PQR Welfare NGO, would like to draw the attention of the public and the concerned authorities towards the plight of primary education.
Primary education is significant for the holistic development of a child as glorified in the National Education Policy, 2020. But due to commercialization, the standards and cleanliness are not maintained properly and even the fee charged is exorbitantly high. Further, there is an increase in the number of preschools and daycare centers in every lane with no quality staff and resources. The government should define specific rules and regulations governing these institutions.
I request you to publish this matter so that the concerned authorities can look into the matter and take the necessary action.
