Through this prestigious column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the public towards decreasing moral values in the present generation.
Being part of one of the most ancient civilizations, we should be proud of our cultural heritage but today we have forgotten ideals and values imparted by our forefathers. There are instances of rape, corruption, domestic violence, drugs and alcohol abuse, resulting out of poor education, a patriarchal mindset. It points towards a decline in moral values.
Collective efforts of all the stakeholders involved can improve the education system and enforce Indian values which helps people remain rooted to their values. I request you to publish this concern in your newspaper so that a message for the people regarding moral values can be conveyed.
